While I was looking at my things, I found a paper on which I had written my 2018 New Year resolution. I felt proud of myself because I succeed in most of the things that were written on the list, especially for the first and the second one, to do volunteering and to travel. I was looking at how I can do that and I found the answer, I had to do an EVS. It was something I definitely wanted to do in my life. And I was lucky because I met the right people, at the right place. So I am doing a 12 months long EVS in Tîrgu Frumos, Iaşi, Romania with Asirys - Super Tineri and I would like to share some reasons why everyone should do an EVS. 1. You will improve your English and learn a new language. I speak everyday in English with my coordonator, local volunteers and locals, in general, but in the same time, I have a Romanian Teacher with whom I do course regular provided by Asirys and also I have online classes provided by Erasmus +. 2. Astăzi împlinim 10 ani de activitate. Timpul a trecut repede, proiectele s-au înmulţit şi au evoluat, oameni noi ni s-au alăturat, unii voluntari au plecat, am crescut şi am învăţat, şi desigur, nu am terminat!  Pentru a sărbători şi pentru a vă revela sursa motivaţiei noastre, vă vom împărtăşi  mai multe mesaje scrise de voluntarii noştri.  "Știam ce vreau să fac. Așa au gândit și ceilalți. „Ce să faci tu la jurnalism?” „Ai să mori de foame, Ioano!” „De ce nu te duci la medicină? Acolo se câștigă bine.” Dar nup. În perioada 26-28 februarie 2019, am participat la prima întâlnire din cadrul proiectului KA2: "Gender out of the box". Întâlnirea, organizată în Sofia, a reunit 9 lideri/reprezentanţi de organizaţii din Albania, Macedonia, Grecia, Bulgaria, Italia, Spania, Kosovo, Serbia şi România, care şi-au prezentat organizaţiile, au planificat, au discutat, au stabilit activităţile locale şi au definit câteva idei de logo pentru proiect.  Pe scurt, activităţile care se vor desfăşura în perioada următoare, sunt: Seminar în Durres , Albania, în perioada 19-26 martie 2019, pentru 3 coordonatori şi lucrători de tineret cu experienţă în educaţie non-formală; Training în Stip , Macedonia, în perioada 2-10 mai 2019, pentru 3 lucrători de tineret; Activitate locală . În perioada 30 martie - 14 aprilie 2019, Asociaţia Super Tineri (ASIRYS) va găzdui 10 liceeni norvegieni (17-19 ani) prin Programul Erasmus+. Elevii vor desfăşura activităţi de voluntariat în şcolile din Tîrgu Frumos şi satele limitrofe. Căutăm 5 familii gazdă, din Tîrgu Frumos sau satele din apropiere, ce doresc să interacţioneze şi să găzduiască tineri norvegieni, pentru o perioadă de două săptămâni.  Prin găzduirea în sânul unei familii, ne dorim ca tinerii să experimenteze viaţa de zi cu zi în România, să descopere cultura şi specificul regiunii noastre.  Pentru cei interesaţi, precizăm următoarele: - perioada de găzduire e de două săptămâni (30 martie - 14 aprilie 2019), programul de activităţi al liceenilor în cadrul asociaţiei se va desfăşura între orele 10:00 - 17:00, de luni până vineri; - tinerii au optat pentru a sta câte doi în familie, astfel că e nevoie ca în cameră să fie un pat dublu, paturi suprapuse sau o altă variantă; - familia gazdă va primi un grant în

In an ever-changing world, which is tormented by a political and economic crisis, conflicts and the loss of cultural identity, we need youth workers that are adaptive, capable of tackling the changes, driven by a constant need for bringing something new and innovative for problem-solving. In line with this, the needs of young people are constantly changing and that is why youth work has to be able to adjust itself to these changes and should be able to give adequate support. The Experiential Rroma Museum is the main result of the „Rroma HeArt” Erasmus+ project, a youth exchange developed by SUPER TINERI in partnership with 8 organisations from Europe.   The museum is not a place presenting objects and history, it is the place where you feel, where you live, where you learn and understand by experience how is to be a Rroma, approaching all the stereotypes: the music, the dance, the food and the lack of resources. The museum draws attention to those stereotypes and fights against them by making young people to personally experience the context where many Rroma are forced to live. At the end, with the right debriefing, the participants are becoming more aware and more tolerant regarding the needs, the lives and the challenges of Rroma community. Empowering Youth in Uganda through EVS is a KA2 - Capacity Building project, financed by Erasmus +. The project consists of 12 main activities, 2 transnational meetings and 2 mobility of youth workers activities.  Activity 1: Creation of Project Management Tools and Settlement of the Project . Activity 2: Transnational Meeting in Kampala, Uganda (4th Month) The transnational meeting will be based on round table discussions and study visits to the Ugandan organization's sites to see how the situation is and what can be useful to implement with the involvement of EVS volunteers. Gender in a BOX is a transnational project (KA2 Capacity Building), involving 9 partner countries, with a set of well composed skills and experience among the consortium which proposes to work "differently" on gender issues, starting from educating young boys and men, in order to achieve gender equality and equity. We are looking for 4 young people, aged between 18 and 30, from European Union countries, to be part of 6-month Erasmus+ volunteering mobility, in Tîrgu Frumos, Iaşi, Romania. The project is adressing youth passionate about dance, painting, music, photography, cooking, crafts and/or other cultural activities. The topics of the project are social inclusion, cultural heritage, creativity and culture. The volunteering activities will be diverse and involve the development of social, intercultural, civic and entrepreneurial skills and competences. Some of the activities that the 4 volunteers will carry out are: a caravan promoting non-formal education and European volunteering in 5 communities,   developing a personal project in the cultural field, artistic workshops, develop and promote the Experiential Rroma Museum,   organization of a conference to promote volunteering and the Erasmus + program among young people and youth leaders from several communities in the region.
