În perioada 23 februrie - 2 martie 2020, invităm 3 profesori sau lucrători de tineret activi să participe la seminarul finanţat de programul Erasmus+ "nEU – New Europe, New Challenges". Mobilitatea reprezintă o oportunitate de a împărtăşi informaţii şi bune practici despre cetăţenia activă la nivel european, fiind implicate 8 ţări, şi va contribui la dezvoltarea personală şi profesională a participanţilor.  Mai multe detalii despre proiect, găsiţi în infopack-ul de mai jos. Toate costurile sunt acoperite de programul Erasmus+, transportul fiind rambursat în mobilitate, pe baza documentelor de călătorie. We are looking for 4  1 volunteer, aged between 18 and 30, from European Union countries, to be part of 8-month European Solidarity Corps volunteering mobility, in Tîrgu Frumos, Iaşi, Romania. The project is addressing youth passionate about crafting, film, dance, painting, music, photography, cooking, theater and/or other artistic or cultural activities. The topics of the project are social inclusion, cultural heritage, creativity and culture. The volunteering activities will be diverse and involve the development of social, intercultural, civic and entrepreneurial skills and competences. I entered in a new year abroad, for the second time in my life. How I felt? Well, I felt loved and lucky, thankful for what I was given and feeling a lot of love from and for my dears’ ones. I felt that I was left here for enjoying and for feeling the difference. I started the year full of hope, I started the year with the desire of making a change and trying to have a positive impact in the place wherever I will be. The first week with the children started full of hope and good energy. I felt for the first time in all these months that my work matters. This time I did not try to force myself to do something special, I was just spending time with the children and speaking half in Greek and half in English. Yes, I become more self-confident of speaking Greek and the children not only help me, but also started to speak in English too the words that I was translating to them during the games. December started with me remembering about my country, this time because the 1th of December is Romania’s National Day. I felt good to realize that I am part of a nation and that I had the chance to see a broader picture about the world and the world’s problems.   In this month I had set the goal of being useful in any way I could. So, I started. The first thing that I was doing was helping one of the formers social workers from the House of Arsis to paint a wonderful tree. From my point of view this tree is the tree of hope because on one hand it is in a place where many children are finding their hope for a better life and in the other hand because it has been painted in December the month when we are full of hope for a better upcoming year.   The social worker that I was working with the most, Maria, came with some great ideas for Christmas decorations so I helped her doing these with the children.  “Romania? What is Romania?” Ebet asked herself before taking the decision to come and spend in Târgu Frumos eight months of her life. She’s 29 and came from Mexico for the Arts Lab project, supported and financed by Erasmus+ and implemented by ASIRYS Super Tineri NGO. In Romania was cold at that time and that was the very first thing that hit her here, but the friendly people who welcomed her in the community made Ebet feel a warmth that eclipsed the winter weather. “With me, all the people were polite and gave me attention” she said smiling happily, recalling the nice moments spent here. What happens when you travel the world searching to gain more and more knowledge? Valentin has experienced that feeling and he still discovered everyday, motivated by his desire to continue his engagement in volunteering field, as he says. He started with courses for the chess club, back in Reunion, France, where he is from, then continued organizing tournaments, being an animator at different events with different topics like education, sports or music. But then he wanted more and as soon as he moved to Tunisia, he started music courses and picking up trash, which he recognizes that it was demoralizing since he had to deal with a lot of garbage. Duminică, 8 decembrie 2019, începând cu ora 14:00, SUPER TINERI vă invită în sala de sport a Şcolii Gimnaziale "Ion Creangă" la un eveniment cultural participativ şi non-formal, pregătit de cei 5 voluntari ai asociaţiei, veniţi din Grecia, Franţa, Spania, Columbia şi Mexic.  Evenimentul va implica peste 50 de copii beneficiari din oraşul Târgu Frumos, elevi ai Şcolilor "Ion Creangă" şi "Garabet Ibrăileanu". Evenimentul propune o competiţie de baschet, o expoziţie foto, un concurs de desen cu temă arheologică, un spectacol de balet şi dans contemporan, şi o expoziţie de şah. Intrarea este liberă.  Evenimentul reprezintă încheierea programului de educaţie non-formală "Clubul Pasiunilor", implementat în perioada 1 octombrie 2019 - 5 decembrie 2019, în cadrul Şcolii "Ion Creangă" Târgu Frumos. He stayed six months here, in this tiny town, doing activities at the ASIRYS Youth Center, gathering people who wanted to learn more about art and his way of expressing emotion. În perioada 8-16 noiembrie, un grup de tineri din Zmeu şi Lungani, au participat la schimbul de tineri finanţat de programul Erasmus+ şi organizat de RIS Slovenia, la castelul Rakican. Mai jos puteţi citi impresiile lor despre această primă experienţă de mobilitate.  "Am plecat la drum joi 07.11.2019, cu mult curaj și cu dorința de a descoperi noi aventuri. După mai bine de 30 de ore de călătorie, cu pauze de câte 2-3 ore prin Cluj-Napoca sau Budapesta, am ajuns în Rakican. Abia așteptam să facem un duș și să dormim, planul era bine pus la punct de pe traseu, dar surpriză, dormitorul era unul mare, foarte mare și era pentru toți participanții, adică 36 de oameni într-o singură camera pe paturi mobile și o singură baie pentru a face duş. My name is Valentin. I studied digital marketing, I'm passionate about arts and worked 8 months as a youth worker. I created and facilitated 6 workshops; Photography Lab, Music Lab, Chess Club, Digital Lab (about digital marketing and creation), Iron Mind (about argumentation and persuasion), French classes and some workshops about European values. Around 400 youngsters benefit them. In this short guide, I put everything I learnt on how to create, promote, animate and maintain a workshop in European projects context. The beginning or November was the time when I truly realized that I was in a foreign place leaving everything behind and jumping in a new life. As you can imagine there was nothing easy in the beginning and I had my "cultural sock" in the first few days.   Let me explain you what it means. It is that state of mind when you realize that your life changed radically and everything is more difficult to be done. For me it manifested as finding very hard to live in a place with more people around and to work in a totally different manner. I expressed from the first beginning my intention of working with people and when I found out that I would work with kids I was very happy, but I never knew how it would be. When I realized that I could not see the immediate results of my work and that there is a very strong language barrier, that my time is somehow not as productive as in the past and that I need to strive even to understand what the children are asking me, I felt very frustrate

Everything started on 24th of October. In a very sunny day my plane landed in an amazing city, Thessaloniki. I was received with bright smiles and warming welcome greetings. Even if I had a hard time before coming, with a lot of things happening, I felt that here I was about to meet great people.   In the next several days, I had the chance to see how beautiful is the city, to meet many new people and to be discover great food and some habits that Greek people have, like addition for coffee.   Then, I discovered the real dimension of Arsis. I discovered that I was going to work with children that due to their life were already aware about the meaning of real difficulties. I discovered that Arsis is a big organization that try hard to provide all the necessary support to children and youth that are found in difficult situations. I found out that all the efforts can be slower when they do not benefit from the authorities’ help. I found out that the people can be supportive in their cause

So this is my last month doing EVS volunteering for Asirys Supertineri. It is being one year. So many new things I learned, so many new things I did, so many new people I met and so much knowledge I gained not only about the topic of the project but also about myself. One of the most important thing that I learnt about myself is getting out of my comfort zone. I came in a country without knowing the language or the culture, but at the end I loved this place and the cooperation we had with the association that I decided to stay more and to become a “local” volunteer. During September we had a lot of activities for the association and for preparing the dissemination plan for my project. We started with an event in Miclăuşeni, a castle near Târgu Frumos.
