Arts Lab 7.0: Anes Taki Eddine Zerrouni - Month IV

Hello again! I want to share more about my experience in this wonderful program.

During my fourth month in Arts Lab 7.0 program, I took part in many cultural and educational activities. We organized and implemented an Intercultural Festival in a middle school, where each volunteer had a full class of children. I presented Algeria and our culture, which was a very nice exchange. After that, we visited the Contemporary Art Museum in Iași, the Pro-Roma organization, and the exhibition of prof. Ana Maria. We also participated again in the Intercultural Festival, where we were part of the jury. At ACT House, we did cleaning and tidying activities, shared the Secret Santa gifts, and celebrated Solstițiu Fire Night, an idea of my colleague, Hedvika, where we wrote our wishes and burned them in the fire.

After a break of Christmas holidays, we started the new year with meetings, promoted the Rroma residencies in schools, planned our play at the House of Culture, organized a Romanian intercultural event in the hub, and started the Rroma museum residencies. This month made me feel proud, motivated, and more confident working in intercultural environments

I aim to continue developing intercultural projects and contribute actively to the Rroma residencies and future artistic activities.

This monthly report was written by Anes Taki Eddine Zerrouni, our Algerian volunteer taking part in a seven-month Arts Lab 7.0 mobility, co-funded by the European Union under the European Solidarity Corps.
