Arts Lab 7.0: Andres Peran | Month I
I arrived at this program on the night of the 16 of September after a long trip from Spain saying goodbye to my family and all my good friends. The first days in the house we could get to know each other better and make a good first work group while the other mates are arriving. We made a lot of workshops in a local crafters festival, which was a real success. The kids and the adults loved our workshops of videogames, ceramic, face-painting and traditional games. We had the help of the local volunteers. I felt fulfilled because of the good work we did.
In the first free days we gone to visit Iasi and was incredible all the monuments, gardens and natural zones, this night came my first roommate that is very good roommate.
The next week we visited Iasi to go to an activity in a high school about books, we did the residences too. I had to go to Moldova High-School specializing in working with visual impaired children. That was a very special activity for me. Their smiles were very special, they were happy only hearing my mate and I. We did a very good job and the teacher, Seby, was very proud of us. I felt very happy to hear us.
The week after we had the Folcloristica event that was very interesting for me. We visited a village where we saw a lot of houses, museums and churches. We tried a lot of delicious traditional food and drinks. Each of us made a representation of our country, it was very funny and we formed a jury in the village's folklore context. I talked with a lot of different people and I discovered that here the young people are very interested in their own folklore. I was very surprised and happy to see that, because in Spain this doesn't happen. This week was a busy day but at the end of the week I felt very proud of my team, we did a very good job.
Now in this week I return to Moldova High-School, I feel very excited to work again with these children. This first month was intense, I learned so many things from my mates and I love it because I like to receive useful information for my future (I am the youngest). One word for this month is learning.
