Arts Lab 7.0: Andres Peran | Month II

I am going to start in mid October. I finished my residencies with my mates and started to think about the personal artwork. This Saturday we went to a pumpkin festival, it was very fun for me and for everybody I think. The next I started my on-arrivals sessions online was a different week because the calls were all the mornings of that week. I felt a little bored because the calls were not very interesting. This weekend we had a photo session that I liked so much, we wore traditional clothes and masks. I felt very curious.

I had 4 days off so I went on a trip to Constanța with some of my mates. It was a fantastic trip for me, we saw the city and the Black Sea

The next week I work l in my personal artwork because I had the folklore exhibition this week.

My first exhibition was good (I think). I did a little presentation about the feeling of the HORA and a percussion workshop with the drums, in this exhibition there were not so many people. The second exhibition was for children and they enjoyed playing with the drums a lot. It was wonderful for me because the kids and their teachers were both very good. This Saturday we had another exhibition with the local volunteers with not very many people and at the end, to finish the day we had a meeting with a mentor about financial education. It was very interesting.

The next week I did my last exhibition and I visited the Jewish Cemetery of Târgu Frumos.

This second month was very complete. I did a lot of activities  and learnt a lot of new things.

One word adaptación.

This monthly report was written by Andres Peran, our Spanish volunteer taking part in a seven-month Arts Lab 7.0 mobility, co-funded by the European Union under the European Solidarity Corps.
