Arts Lab 7.0: Anes Taki Eddine Zerrouni - Month VI

Heyy, I would like to share my experience during this month in the Arts Lab 7 program.

During this period, I focused on my personal artwork, exploring the emotions I wanted to express. For my Cucuteni project, I created a clay sculpture combining the Cucuteni female figure with positive emotions, inspired by our visit to the Cucuteni Museum, which gave me new ideas to develop my work.

We also welcomed the French Institute to our Rroma exhibition, and presented it again to teachers audience, which was meaningful because it allowed us to explain the artistic process and ideas behind our work.

The Cucuteni exhibition was  first open to the public from all the local schools and the second for a visiting group from Hălăucești high school, providing an opportunity to interact with different audiences and share our artworks in a more focused way.

Additionally, we participated in the Mărțișor event at Ion Creangă School, where we interacted with students and shared cultural traditions through creative activities. Throughout the month, we also had many meetings related to the Emotions Project, discussing ideas and planning upcoming activities.

We enjoyed intercultural moments with colleagues as well, such as the Spanish cultural night with Andres and the Czech cultural night with Hedvika, and we did Ramadan night all together to share about our  beautiful religious month,  which were great opportunities to share traditions and experiences in a friendly environment.

Through these activities, I developed my artistic skills, communication, and teamwork, and learned more about how art can express emotions and connect different cultures. In the future, I hope to continue developing my personal artwork, participate in upcoming exhibitions.  And to enjoy the maximum specially because it will be my last month here .

This monthly report was written by Anes Taki Eddine Zerrouni, our Algerian volunteer taking part in a seven-month Arts Lab 7.0 mobility, co-funded by the European Union under the European Solidarity Corps.
