Dissemination Events: Sports Activator in Canary Islands, Spain
Sara Lustres del Castillo Olivares organised a dissemination event for Sports Activator project in Canary Islands, Spain. Her activity involved approximately 15 girls from 4 to 11 years old who were taking Ballet classes. The activity was directed mainly to stretching and companionship games. It started with a game of clapping to get the children's attention. Also, they did basic stretching activities for most of the muscles in addition for trying to gain elasticity. After several exercises, another game was carried out where the children were divided into 2 groups where they had to write on a small cardboard the largest number of muscles they knew. In this way the brain of these children was encouraged. Another game that was also performed was that of the statue. They had to be in motion while the music was playing, once the music stopped they had to be still. At the end, the children were happy and they gave constructive comments about the activity.
