We started the month traveling to Piatra Neamț, where we visited the Cucuteni museum trying to learn more about this culture.  During the workshops we made a video-clip with the young people of the town, using a popular story inspired by “Cimitirul Vesel”. It was a success. We also continued our visits to nearby towns and villages with Arts Lab Caravan and we had the chance to meet new young artists and artisans.  I think that last month was a great experience for us because we tried to enjoy our time as much as possible knowing that it was time to go home. In this last month we have discovered new things and made new friends. Finally, the last week we had a trip to Iași with the volunteers to learn a little more about art within the Galleries Night exhibitions. We took the opportunity to record the video-clip of the Super Tinerii song that we will present the last day. În următoarea perioadă vom implementa la nivel județean, programul Changemakers, cu sprijinul Fundației Kids Rights din Olanda. Programul presupune să încurajăm 200 de copii și tineri, cu vârsta cuprinsă între 12 - 24 de ani, să dezvolte și să implementeze proiecte locale în domeniul drepturilor copiilor și/sau obiectivelor globale de dezvoltare durabilă. Pentru a sprijini copiii și tinerii din regiunea noastră să realizeze proiecte, căutăm 20 de profesori, bibliotecari, lideri formali sau informali ce doresc să se implice ca mentori în Programul Changemakers. Profilul mentorului este: abilitatea de a comunica în limba engleză (scris și oral); interes pentru a învăța noi metodologii pentru a sprijini copiii și tinerii în domeniile drepturilor copiilor și obiectivelor de dezvoltare durabilă;  dorința de a lucra cu copii și tineri într-un context non-formal. It has come down to this. The final monthly report… Maybe. I am sitting here in this room that I had spent living for the last 7 months, sick because of the sudden change of temperature (not because of COVID). September was a very dramatic month for sure. After coming back from the Holiday, everything felt more accelerated. I was preparing a lot of things for the organization: Caravan workshops, editing videos about conferences and folkloristicas, intercultural night. By this month I was exhausted and depressed. I was struggling to find a proper motivation to continue with the project and felt alone in the house. Thankfully, there were people in my life who helped me to finish the project. When it felt like I had no one to talk to, there was Nikolia and Mona, my tutor and one of the local volunteer. They were willing to listen to me and provided me proper care. După 4 luni, în care energia noastră s-a concentrat pe implementarea proiectului Arts Lab 2.0, proiect care a beneficiat de sprijinul a 8 tineri voluntari din Târgu Frumos, Buznea și Bălțați, iată că lansăm al doilea apel pentru o nouă echipă de voluntari locali . Căutăm 5 voluntari , cu vârsta minimă de 16 ani, care să se alăture echipei noastre, în calitate de mentori, pentru a implementa programul Changemakers, susținut de Fundația Kids Rights din Olanda.   Rolul mentorilor va fi să sprijine copiii să planifice proiecte, facilitând ateliere și oferind suport pe tot parcursul dezvoltării proiectelor.   Profilul voluntarului este: abilități de comunicare în limba engleză; dorința de a aloca timp pentru a învăța despre drepturile copiilor și obiectivele globale de dezvoltare durabilă;  interesul pentru transmiterea informațiilor acumulate către copiii și tinerii din județul Iași.    Activitățile voluntarilor vor fi:  participarea la cursuri de formare online, facilitate de formatori

August was a month full of travels and visits to new places!  Together with local volunteers we started to go to the nearby villages to try our workshops with local children and teenagers. The first place we visited was Butea, there we stayed in the local school for the workshops, than we had the opportunity to meet  and document the work of some local artists for the Folcloristica festival.  It was very interesting to know them and to learn about their music and their art. They showed us a room of their house which was decorated according to tradition, with hand-made clothes and they sang and dance some traditional songs. I really like to meet passionate artists who showed us their work and thanks to them I can say I learnt something new about the art and music in Romania. During all the month, in addition to the other activities, I continued the photography and crafting workshops in the youth center with local volunteers and I thought them how to make jewellery with wires.  August wa

In August we did the on-arrival online training where we met many new volunteers, that we actually met at the end of the month.  We also participated in a very beautiful project called Folcloristica where we had to visit communities and do workshops with young people and meet local artists, it was a wonderful experience. In the first village we visited - Butea, we met Constantin, a very friendly musician and Maria, a local poet. The two of them sang a song about the village and how little by little it changed. In Oțeleni, we met a jive singer of traditional music and he sang acapela some verses for us. The third village was Feredeni where we met the artistic groups trained by Feredeni Parish. The youth choir "Grupul Vocal Hurgheșelul" transmitted us lot of energy. August is here and it has been a blast. Many things had happened in such a short amount of time. Many ups and down but in the end it was probably the most memorable month for me.  The month started off with the Mid term training we had with the tutors Sonia and Ioana. Comparing to the On-arrival training, the group has become much more smaller but at the same time the interaction between other participants has become much more closer. The tutors were really kind and I’ve got to know some other participants that I got to meet in person this month. Not doing the conference in person in Brașov was a bit demotivating but soon enough after the first two days I was motivated to participate as I had the opportunity to meet new people. Right after the online training, the organisation started the caravan event. Due to the whole pandemic the program has been delayed by many months as we couldn’t be giving out workshops to a big group of crowd. The first event took place in Butea, a village near

August started with an unbearably hot weather - and less restrictions with the pandemic. We had already adapted to the situation, and were going on our project somehow. Everything was fine. We entered the month with the online Mid-Term Training. For 5 days, from 10.00 to 14.00 we were in front of the computer again, this time with less people in the Zoom room. The interesting fact was that our whole house was in the same training group, which let us share a computer from time to time. It was fun, but we were a bit disappointed, because all of us would like to meet as more different people as we can. Well, it was a nice meeting anyway. The topics were interesting and the group atmosphere was fine. Also, it was great to see the other volunteers again, even in the small screens. The second week started busy, after the whole week of training, we got back to the youth center and kept preparing our laboratories - 4 different workshops for children with the help of our amazing local volunteer

 „Implică un sat, dezvoltă o ţară!” reprezintă misiunea Festivalului Folcloristica! Prin solidaritate și activităţi de educaţie non-formală şi voluntariat, #Folcloristica promovează, integrează și revigorează tradițiile și obiceiurile ce stau la baza culturală a județului Iași. Evenimentul se adresează: artiştilor, producătorilor locali, meşterilor populari, voluntarilor, şcolilor, elevilor, primăriilor, instituţiilor culturale și ONG-urilor, și facilitează împărtășirea de infomații, cunoștințe și abilități între toți cei dispuși să ofere sau/și să înveţe despre patrimoniul cultural regional. Din 2015, festivalul a fost organizat în fiecare an în altă localitate: 2015 - Târgu Frumos, 2016 - Bălțați, 2017 - Ruginoasa, 2018 - Tomești și 2019 - Butea. În 2020, am decis să adaptăm conceptul festivalului la condițiile crizei sanitare.
