Once upon a time... a vegetarian vampire arrived in Turkey for a youth exchange, with ASIRYS . And since then, her life was never the same... How one sees Turkey from above... My first youth exchange began somewhere over Gaziantep, Turkey.  We were all looking on the plane window, trying to figure out where we have reached. From up there it definitely looked like a challenge. And here it was: Let’s talk about women’s rights in Turkey . We have tried them all: from dancing Vals to hanging fruits in trees and all this to prove a point: that women have rights as well, regardless of country. I am proud to have represented my country and describe the women’s current situation in Romania. We have also shared a significant part of our culture with the others. The last deadline of Youth in Action Programme was one of the most provocative for us because we submitted 3 international projects, for which we have worked with 20 partners from 10 different countries. All of the projects are youth exchanges that will take place during the summer and autumn. În perioada 11-18 martie 2013, o echipă de voluntari ai organizaţiei noastre, sunt invitaţi în proiectul "Create your team", în Turcia. Nu este prima dată când mergem în Turcia, anul trecut am fost în 7 proiecte diferite, iar în acest an vom participa la cel puţin 2. Mai multe detalii despre proiectul "Create your team" se găsesc mai jos, totuşi o să încercăm să răspundem la câteva din întrebările cele mai frecvente. De ce merită să merg în acest proiect?  E bine să menţionăm că în august 2012, am participat la un schimb de tineri, organizat de aceeaşi echipă, în aceeaşi locaţie şi a fost superb... în special pentru că am îmbinat activităţile nonformale pe tema "Build your own town" cu timpul liber petrecut pe malul mării şi la piscină! Condiţiile de cazare, masă, locaţia unde s-au derulat activităţile, au fost superioare comparativ cu ceea ce am experimentat în alte proiecte în Turcia. Iar în martie, va fi perfect din punct de vedere climater

You will participate on several workshops where you will learn techniques of creating arts items (like origami, quilling, etc) and on workshops where you will be able to create your own products. At the end of this project you are gone be an “eco-house doctor”, that mean that you can design and transform your house in an eco-house. You will participate in several workshops, about how to do unconventional furniture, how to design an eco-room and eco-house installations, how to do the adobe (Romanian ancient brick) and how to do a fundraising campaign for an eco-house.
